Getting Started

Understanding Your Focus Cube

The Focus Cube has six sides, each with a different timer setting. Here's a breakdown of each side and its corresponding function:

5 Minutes
10 Minutes
30 Minutes
60 Minutes

When you place the Focus Cube on a flat surface with the desired timer face up, the timer will start automatically.

Buttons and Ports

1. Power Button: Located on the bottom of the cube. Press and hold for 3 seconds to turn the Focus Cube on or off.
2. Mode Button: Next to the power button, used to switch between timer modes (e.g., countdown timer, Pomodoro mode).
3. Reset Button: Small recessed button on the bottom, used to reset the device. Use a pin to press it.
4. USB Charging Port: Located on the side, used to charge your Focus Cube.

 

LED Indicators

• Green Light: The timer is active.
• Red Light: The timer has finished or the device needs charging.
• Blue Light: The device is in Pomodoro mode.
• Yellow Light: The device is being charged.

 

Using Your Focus Cube

Setting a Timer

1. Choose a Timer Duration: Decide how long you want to work or take a break.
2. Place the Cube: Put the Focus Cube on a flat surface with the desired time face up.
3. Start the Timer: The timer will start automatically, indicated by a green light.

Switching Modes

1. Standard Timer Mode: This is the default mode where the timer counts down from the selected duration.
2. Pomodoro Mode: Press the Mode Button to switch to Pomodoro mode (25 minutes of work followed by a 5-minute break). The blue light will indicate this mode.

Pausing and Resetting the Timer

1. Pause: Lift the cube from the surface to pause the timer. The light will blink green to indicate the pause.
2. Resume: Place the cube back on the surface to resume the timer.
3. Reset: Press the Reset Button with a pin to reset the timer.

Charging Your Focus Cube

1. Connect the USB Cable: Plug one end of the USB charging cable into the cube’s USB port and the other end into a power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
2. Charging Indicator: The yellow light will indicate the device is charging. It turns off when fully charged.
3. Charging Time: It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the Focus Cube.

Battery Life

A fully charged Focus Cube can last up to 20 hours of continuous use. It’s recommended to charge the device when the red light appears.

 

Troubleshooting

Device Not Turning On:

• Ensure the device is charged.
• Press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds.

Timer Not Starting:

• Make sure the device is on a flat surface.
• Ensure the Power Button is switched on.

LED Indicators Not Working:

• Check the battery level and charge if necessary.
• Reset the device using the Reset Button.

Safety Information

• Keep the Focus Cube away from water and extreme temperatures.
• Do not attempt to open or repair the device yourself.
• Use only the provided charging cable to avoid damage.
